#82254 - ISP Serial Speed Responding to: ???'s previous message |

You said: Turn on power Press the reset and PSEN buttons. Release the PSEN button Release the PSEN button This should read Turn on power Press the reset and PSEN buttons. Release the RESET button Release the PSEN button Thanks for the correction. It is so easy to think you have checked your own posts. Also I am surprised you managed to get UART auto-baud at 56 kbaud. I use a 11.059MHz xtal and have had problems in getting reliable ISP communications above 9600 baud. What is your secret? The Kanda board I am using has a 20MHz crystal so that probably helps but even so you should be able to reach at least 19K2. The Philips 89C52RD2 chip I am using has a 6 clock cycle too so if you are using a 12 cycle one that may explain why speeds over 9600 are difficult. Ian |
