#82808 - Direct debugging from Raisonance IDE |
The Silabs "serial to JTAG/EC2" adapter is now driven from RIDE to allow a comprehensive debugging directly from RIDE. For this purpose, Raisonance simply adapted the Silabs API to the Raisonance public API (named "OPI").
A beta release is available at: http://www.raisonance.com/products/8051/SiLabs.php Advance features are also provided: code bank switching and "JTAG chaining". 3 examples have been added: 1. The Silabs firmware for USB bulk (C8051F320) 2. The Silabs demo code for the C8051F12X 3. A simple demo to demonstrate bank switching with the C8051F12X ALL the Silabs examples/devices are supposed to be accepted by the Raisonance compiler/toolchain, but we, at Raisonance, tested only the two EVM board we have (F12X and F320). The beta release is available in two modes: demo (up to 4KB) and complete upgrade for the customers. The advanced peripherals (USB,...) are NOT simmulated in RIDE. However, the Raisonance simulator have been adapted to comply with the CIP51 core. Francis |
