In your description there is no debounce facility. Erik That's true, there's indeed no debounce facility. I only wanted to share the 'rought' ideas I'm playing with in this design, namely being able to measure the length a key was pressed. Of course, and you're right, if in my example an interrupt comes in at an unreasonable time (that is, a time that is too short for a human being to release/re-press a button), I also have to handle this and tread it as a disturbance/debounce. It was not explained in my story. Sorry for that. Just hoped to make clear that interrupts can be interesting, even if it is 'only' to handle a keyboard. Kind Rgds, -- Geert |
