hi,
the TL7705 has bad value of reset power-up/down voltage. I mean that if Vcc is below ~3,6V then reset output level of this chip is not defined. There is part called TLC7705 of which reset level is defined as long as Vcc is above 1V. Unfortunatelly they are not full pin-to-pin compatible: TLC7705 has not reference voltage output.
