Are you vaguely trying to convey that, you located in USA, cannot find information on 16pin LCDs or source 14pin ones with which you are familiar?! Just to name a few mail order comapnies - you have Mouser, RS, Farnell and scores of others. And all of them will tell what pin does what. And incidentally what you guessed is right (mostly). The two additional pins are for backlight. But before you connect that 5v to these pins, please REFER the data sheet. Raghu |
