#83647 - Strictly 51? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The best way how to distinguish a '51-compatible microcontroller is to look into the datasheet - usually it says something like "8052 compatible", most often on the very first page (in list of features). But, if you encounter some general problem (say with a periferal), I don't think there will be much objection if you post a question here (stating as many details as possible). Anyway, the 8515 is fully pin-compatible with the standard 8051, so you can replace it with a 8051 (of course the program will be different), or at least say to us you have replaced it ;-) Good luck!
