The solution is dependant on what features of the 8749 were used. Are any 8243 ic's used in the target system? The 8749 is not a 'drop-in' replacement in hardware or software. Would it not be easier just to replace the 8749 with another 8749? I have a bucket of them. As for a 'pcb drawing' it's a matter if looking at both datasheets for the devices and connecting the dots. |
