#83991 - [OT] Label Printer |
This applies to 8052 only in as much as we wish to place labels on some of our chips and/or PCBs to designate part no. and/or version/etc... (possibly with a barcode).
OK, here is the question, does anyone have a label printer that they can recommend that will do the above? At a previous company we used one of these: http://www.epinions.com/P-Touch_PC_S0082536 It was great because it hooked to a PC (LAN would be nice) and you could use saved templates. The label was automatically cut to the correct size too. BUT(!) rumour has it that the Brother label stock these days has no "stick" to it (the labels fall off!). So if anyone can recommend something else THAT THEY USE OR HAVE USED, that would be great... Sorry to bother the list with this, but I don't want to blow the $100/$200/$? on junk. The epinions site is great, but it looks like most of the reviewers are making labels for file folders and such. Thanks, GB |
