#84340 - Audio transmission over bluetooth |
Hello
I am looking for some ideas for transmitting audio over bluetoothInfra red medium. I was wondering if microcontroller derivative can handle the tasks required in such a system. A DSP would be ideal (I believe) .... however the cost of a DSP is the constraint. For a dongle that would connect to the audio player, I would need 1. ADC --> to sample the audio signal at a very high rate. 2. Micro --> for data acquisition and transmission. 3. bluetooth/Infrared card --> for communication At the receiver end, the required parts would be 1. bluetooth / infrared receiver. 2. Micro --> for data acquisition and conversion. 3. DAC --> to convert digital data to analog for speakers. Not knowing the considerations (this is my first audio project), I am unable to decide on the particular parts (the micro/DSP, ADC and the communication medium). Further, I am also not sure if audio transmission involves some steps I may not have considered now. Any suggestions ? Regards KL |
