http://www.circuitcellar.com/library/p...168/p3.htm Seriously: The disadvantage of such amateurish ovens is, that the temperature spreading is not homogeneous. This will result in dangerous hot spots on your PCB. So, one should very carefully test if the temperature profile leads to proper temperatures at EVERY place on the PCB, before deciding to use such an oven for soldering purpose. Kai |
