#84520 - digital - analog -digital Responding to: ???'s previous message |
And regarding the Eagle's eye - it is very true that nobody ( maybe except an Eagle ) can spot a 0.1% difference on an analog meter! But the display IS digital and hence the concern.
Raghu, Going from digital (pulses) to analog (LM331) to digital (a/d) will introduce drift as an issue. For the precision of 0.1% I would abandon all analog. If such precision is required, you should be able to charge enough to do the right thing with a CPLD and a '51. Erik |
