Mode 0 is in fact SPI; however, there is no slave mode, i.e. the '51 always emits the clock on Tx even if receiving; never listens for clock.
Hence, you cannot simply connect two '51's using UART mode 0 (unless some sofisticated synchronisation is employed). Jan Waclawek |
