Normally, I would say "hooray for the good guys". But DirecTV are not the good guys. I know from personal experience that they practice illegal employment discrimination, and in a big way. While I find the actions of the crackers, mistakenly referred to as "hackers" in the article, reprehensible, I think the actions of DirectTV are much more reprehensible. They will not get any sympathy from me (nor any money--when one of their telemarketing sales people called me, I told him to... well, this is a family forum, so I won't say).

And before anyone jumps to conclusions, no, I'm not a cracker. I have nothing to do with such low lifes. But in this case, I think DirecTV deserved more than the losses they suffered. They deserve to be out of business.
