#85826 - Contrast Problem. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Dear Ravi,
You said the LCD is displaying the desired text without visibility. Without visibility how do you know if its really displaying the correct text or not. :-/ Trying to clear the display text is getting cleared but not the background. Are you refering to the contrast adjustment. 3. second line of lcd was clear( without dark back ground) , i tried to display text on it ,but it is using the same first line( with the same problem.)
The symptoms you stated first line dark blocks and second line clear indicates that the LCD is not properly initialised there are several causes for this kind of problem. 1. Problems with code. 2. Problems with hardware design. 3. Loose LCD contact with its cable. As Erik asked I too would suggest you to post your schematic and code here so that we can help you. Regards, Prahlad Purohit |
