However, if you implement a couple of "extended" intelhex "commands", on the PC-side you can use ready-made tools, such as FLIP of Atmel or FlashMagic http://www.esacademy.com/software/flashmagic/ . They are used to download the RD2-style '51s, with 64kB of Flash - very similar to your arrangement.
