Hello friends

I'm working with 89s8252 and trying to program the internal eeprom of 2k size.I activate the necessary wmcon register bits to write to internal eeprom. My problem is i'm not geting the confirmation of eeprom write cycle completion in the wmcon register. I monitor wdtrst bit continiously in order to get the indication of eeprom write cycle completion and write the next byte but the program doesn't come out from the loop as the bit is not reset automatically . I have tried this routine on different chips of different batches but the results are same. Pls guide me on how to write the internal eeprom of 89s8252 and how to verify the data from the same.
