Well that's what it is right ? SFR means "Special Function Register" am I correct on this ? They would not call it that if it was not a register, correct ? Although I am PLC engineer and PLC's typically use the term "register" so I might be wrong on this. Sorry for the mistake if so.
Yes SFR means that. The reason the distinction is so important in the '51 is that the means of access and the use in instructions is so TOTALLY different between "register" and "SFR" Previous: uses an external Watchdog circuit. Will that effect the WDCON SFR Something MUST be wrong here THAT was the issue, the SFR name was an aside. How can an external watchdog affect an internal register? Erik |
