A thing many beginners go wrong on re. timer 2 is that in most texts it is stated that T2 only exist in the '52, not in the '51.
That was, indeed, true before the myriad of derivatives arrived. Do not believe that because a chip has '51 in it it does not have a T2. E.g. the P89C51Rx2 has a T2 the 8051F12x has T2, T3 AND T4. always refer to the datasheet Erik |
