Your hang sounds like it is due to electrical noise in the circuit that happens when the switch is pressed. You need to look at:
- Bypass cap on processor PWR & GND pins. - Check your GND bussing to make sure that it is adequate. - Make sure that the relay contacts are not switching a load that is near your processor. You may actually have to put some EMI filtering and transient suppression across the contacts of the relay. Michael Karas |
