is it a one-shot vs. a duty cycle? what is the sequence of events for each case? .... is it something like?: case 1: power on and consume more power Pp do setup and consume more power Ps loop times Y where Y is ? [ do some runtime stuff and consume more power Pr drop to lower power mode and consume less power Pz ] batteries discharge in 7 days case 2: power on-off times X where X is ? [ power on and consume more power Pp do setup and consume more power Ps do some runtime stuff and consume more power Pr power off and consume no power (unless there's a leak in the circuit) Pl ] batteries discharge in 2 or 3 days P for case 1 = Pp + Ps + Y * [ Pr + Pz ] P for case 2 = X * [ Pp + Ps + Pr + Pl ] where Pl may be 0. james |
