I was offered a Gmail account from a friend of mine a couple of months ago. I was eager to use it instead of the Yahoo account I use as a spam depository. Unfortunately, Gmail seemed incompatible with Opera. I couldn't get passed the login page.
Hopefully they've improved their product. I can't imagine a single solitary reason why such a service needs to do anything that isn't supported on all platforms. Especially when it seems that their new competitor is Microsoft, being platform-independent seems like it would be a no-brainer. Oh well. Regards, Craig Steiner |
