#87048 - DS89C450 - Serial speed Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Sivas,
If this 1Mbps (9-10 bit? ~100kBps?) is a burst arrival rate, and if there is either flow control or message recovery, the DS'450 can do a lot of buffering in the 10us between bytes. If this is a steady arrival rate, it's a fair sized load for even a DS'450, i would suggest the buffer and it's managment strategy will byte you before raw cycle time would. Now if all you did was route to say well service'd parallel FIFO's it's do-able. Sure going to impact foreground processing. regards, p |
