#87737 - Determining the threshold value Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Most of the barcode sensors I've come across do the threshold sensing for you and just output a digital value - no need to use the adc. If you've built your own barcode sensor - then how should we know what the threshold value should be? In fact you probably would not use a fixed threshold value but rather look for the delta value - the change from light to dark. This is similar to the method used to determine a thick or thin bar. |
