#8794 - RE: Request to Students |
Please use your real name in this forum. This is a professional forum. Nick names such as "Ice Water" are not appropriate.
As for your message, please see a virtually identical request for help in: Message #8540 I assume you and the person in the previous post are in the same class. Students: I ask for your cooperation in using 8052.com correctly. Messages that state what your project is and ask the 8052.com public to do your project are not acceptable and will generally be "closed." We are not here to do your homework assignment. An example of an inappropriate request for help is "I need to build a calculator. Can someone help me?" On the other hand, this forum is certainly available if you run into a specific problem and need help with a portion of your project. An example of an appropriate request for help is "In my microcontroller class I'm building a calculator. I've written the code for addition, subtraction, and multiplication, but when I attempt to divide, I find my answer is off by 1 or 2. Here's the code I've written to perform the divide function..." Here we'll be happy to help you with your code. Also keep in mind that many professors read this forum, too. Don't post anything that you wouldn't want your professor to see. Please take a look at this post where a student was caught "cheating" by his professor, who also apparently visits 8052.com. Craig Steiner 8052.Com Webmaster |
