#88121 - An old idea Responding to: ???'s previous message |
8 years ago when I needed to record the IR remote signal stream I used the audio IN aux of my PC. I had a Windows (3.1) program called 'WaveStudio'. I built a simple circuit, powered by few small batteries, that includes an IR receiver (it extracts the data bits from the 38KHz IR modulated signal). The attenuated output (high/low data bits) of the IR receiver is then recorded as any audio signal to be analysed later on screen or a suitable wave program (I had to write one myself later). |
