#88252 - FLIP time-out Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I get the FLIP time-out errors once in a while. It doesn't seems to matter which PC I use, which version of FLIP, baud rate, target board, processor, etc.
I just try it again and it works. I have to say that I really like the automatic serial port signals to generate the PSEN and RESET signals required. The only problem with that is the serial port signals can cause the board to stay in reset with some serial communications programs. I get around that by either using a terminal program that allows me to easily set the RTS and DTR levels, or using a 3-wire (Tx, Rx, and GND ONLY) cable. -- Tom Bachmann |
