It depends on how far apart the processors are and how fast you are trying to send the data,if they are more than a few inches apart then you need to take more care of your data and cosider how it is being driven.
Rs232 is convienient for short distances as you are already using the uart but longer distances need other methods. Also you need to consider that when sending data the error rate you will see at the reciever depends primarily on the data rate and the bandwidth of the channel that you are using. |
