There is no property which exists outside of our concept of left and right or up and down which defines wether something is turning clockwise or anticlockwise,its just a naming convention,the suns shadow moves the oposite way across a sundial depending on wether you are in the north or south,so if the first clock had been made in south america then what we call anticlockwise would have been clockwise. |
