#8922 - RE: Human Pulse Rate Detection |
Hi,
Simon ECG for pulse rate mesurements? Why haven't you suggested cardiac Catheterization(Most accurate) Haa ha haaa . Ziege If you can trust the best way to measure pulse rate is to place your two fingers on the wrist and count it for half minute and then multiply it by two a count of 65-80 pulses for an individual is considered to be normal, the age sex of the individual further determine the "normal value" of blood pressure I havent seen any Doc measuring pulse rate with some equipment may be they are lazy :). The idea is to measure the condition of the heart ,pulse rate in itself is nothing a number of Xducers are available in the market ultrasonic, piezoelectric, photoelectric, electroacustic, electrocardiographic, lvdt, magnetostrictive, etc etc.... good luck sanjeev |
