#89242 - Taj Mahal!! (for CRO) Responding to: ???'s previous message |
This is what you do. Have two DAC's. And two lookup tables.
In one store a sine wave. Feed this data to Channel 1 of CRO In the other store a cosine wave. Feed this data to Channel 2 of the same CRO (couldn't help saying this!!) You need to be in an infinite loop! Set your CRO to X-Y mode and viola you get a circle.. Now store a modulated sine wave and a modulated cosine wave in the LUT's Do the same thing again... you'll get a rotating circle on the CRO!!! This is what i did in college not so long ago in the 8085 lab. This was actually an examination question at my college. "Draw the Taj Mahal on the CRO using the 8085 and DAC module." Now that would be interesting wouldn't it?? |
