#89343 - 8052BASIC details |
I have been trying to figure out the squareroot function in the source code for the 8052BASIC. This code and the accompanying floating point math routines have been in the public domain for several years. It appears to use the same argument stack as the FP routines. I don't need the rest of the code and have been able to compile what I need. I can enter a number in proper format, but when the code executes it gets lost. I suspect a pointer is somehow getting overwritten. Has anyone had success in running any of those routines by them selves? Else, I need a sqroot routine that I can use with the FP routines.
Thanks, |
