Anyhow, surely, if it were a reserved word, it the assembler would throw it out with an error? Even if it did get past the assembler, Prahlad and Craig have already explained why writing "raw" 8-bit binary data will not give the required result. PS Yes, 'data' (lowercase) is a reserved word for the Keil C51 Compiler - and it does cause an error if you use it as an identifier! |
