#89466 - PCON vs 6 clock Responding to: ???'s previous message |
It is the same as for 9600 but PCON is loaded with 0x80 and so it sets bit SMOD which doubles baud rate.
In some chips the timers run twice as fast when configured as a 6 clock chip. I believe that, in the P89C51Rx2 series it is so for the H but not for the non-H, I will check when (s)he post the actual chip. Erik |
