A nice document that takes you through the process of developing the hardware and software for a PC controlled stepper motor. I was particularly impressed by the discussions on the common goof ups that one makes while designing velocity or acceleration profiles in position control applications.

And the document finally gives you the full code in C with good commenting. ( OK there was no need to comment every line - but all in all a good effort )

All you students doing stepper projects : Forget the pub / disco for this week end and read this document ;-)
