An Introduction to the Intel MCS-51 Single-Chip Microcomputer Family
The document is dated May 1980 and proudly states "Single supply 5 volt operation using HMOS technology. Why even glance at a HMOS document except for historical reasons, trying to apply it to the CMOS chips will, in many cases, lead to errors. Things do change, the most recent "general '51" document is the Philips revision of "the bible" and I have no recollection of anyone pointaing out errors in that. Erik |
