I am aware of them and I have used their services in the past, but the prices dont work for the Indian market, in a small quantity production situation.
In "small quantity production" everything is more expensive but what is the problem? "small quantity production" indicate a very unique device and, in such cases, price is rarely that big a deal. The "small quantity production" units I have been involved with have all been designed to solve a unique problem, where no other solution existed, and thus the price could be set at a profitable, but reasonable, level. The fact is that if the price per chip at a million is 1, the price at one off is ten. That is not "Indian" that is just how it is. Erik |
