#90787 - Firmware Documenation and Planning |
I am an 8051 programmer and would appreciate any links and/or recommended books/literature that discusses proper software planning (ala system specification, requirements analysis, architectural design, etc) and documentation techniques. ANY current info is appreciated regarding this.
You might be saying? Why is he asking this here? I really respect the advice and experienced opinions coming from this forum. Secondly, self-admittingly, I have always been one to "rush" into the coding portion of design which has often caused great problems later in the design. Recently, I started a new position that would greatly benefit from more planning and formal documentation. Where does a self-tought 8051 embedded programmer learn these things such that they can properly be prepaired for a common corporate environment? Thanks a lot in advance, James Corbin |
