#90899 - Thermal/solid Responding to: ???'s previous message |
A thermal relief is lika a wheel with (often) 4 lines connecting to the plane, (like a cartwheel, had to check the dictionary) solid is connected all the way round. A problem with a solid connection is that you have to heat a good part of the plane around when soldering, can be a real problem with a small soldering iron. If you can make gerber or some other printout of your plane you can probably see the difference.
