Eric, if you recall, I posted a message on the Philips MCU forum titled "Availability of 89LPC90x chips".
Shortly after that, I got frustrated at companies like Digikey not offering much in the way of Philips parts, so I contacted Digikey, and also, all of the Philips sales offices that would respond to me. Basically I asked, "What's the deal, don't you guys get along, or something like that? These parts are a natural for Digikey." Maybe my persistance and naive questioning actually did something. (Part of what I learned was that Philips has some rather high minimum quantities on some of these parts, so the distributers have not wanted to take a chance on some of them.) |
