I agree with Michael - if the object of this excercise is merely to get your data into Matlab, then a serial data link would probably be much better. Or, if you have a simulator, get it to save the data to a file. but the signal im reading on the PC is terrible, where as the scope reading at the DAC is resonable. In what way "terrible?" Are you sure that the output from your DAC is properly filtered to contain only audio frequencies? And no DC offset? Are you sure that you have appropriate levels & impedances going into your soundcard? What does the signal at the soundcard input look like on your scope? Maybe the soundcard is broken, or just rubbish - does your soundcard record well from other sources? |
