#91800 - Polyphonic Responding to: ???'s previous message |
"Polyphonic" is the term that describes the ability of an instrument to play multiple notes simultaneously; eg, pianos & guitars are polyphonic, flutes & trumpets are not.
The human voice is (generally) not polyphonic. Harmony can be achieved with a polyphonic instrument, or with several non-polyphonic instruments - or both! So, include "Polyphonic" in your Googling |
