#91951 - RTFM? Responding to: ???'s previous message |

hello i am working on the protocol IEC 101 for scada server, could anybody let me know that how it can be implemented on 8051. Same way you'd implement any protocol on any processor - read the protocol definition documents, and do what they say! Once you have your bit working according to your interpretation of the specs, you can then start interworking with the other parts of your system - and finding workarounds for all those places where your (mis)interpretation of the spec doesn't match their (mis)interpretation of the spec...! Don't know if your application requires submission to any certification/compliance/Approvals bodies...? Or, if you have no experience with writing your own protocol stacks, just buy one. You say this is for a Server - are you sure that an 8051 is an appropriate platform for a Server (maybe it is; I have no idea - only you know your application, so only you can answer this). |
