#91977 - using serial port(UART) without interrup
I am going to use the UART for transmitting some bytes every 1ms. It will receive only occasionly. I am going to use UART by polling method only, both for tx & rx. My doubt is suppose I am receiving a byte,[as I am doing polling first I will transmit my bytes and then will go for reception]if I have transmitted bytes before checking the received byte, what will happen?. The received byte will no get affected know. I am wondering there are 2 SBUF registers in 8052. There are seperate tx & rx shift registers, alright. Please help me , my doubt may be so silly. Thanking u everybody in advance.
