#92409 - Some ideas and clarifications Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Can I use Keil uVision2 for programming or must I use flashmagic? If you get the MCB900 as has been suggested for the LPC derivatives, then that is all you need. But for other regular Philips derivatives, best would be to use Keil uVision2 for programming ( develop code ) and then use FlashMagic for 'burning' your code into the flash. You can call FlashMagic from within uVision2 and automate the process. Since FlashMagic is free, has a forum to answer your queries and is quite well documented, it is one good thing that is still free from the Web! You can check out here for other range of low cost kits : http://www.8052.com/store/index.phtml?PRODUCTID=19 If you are wondering if I am an agent for FlashMagic or Phytec - I am not. Just that I have used them and found to be good for my intended purpose. Raghu |
