I found my ( Serial port of ) PCB damages the serial port of PCs while Communicating. This happens once a month. which is repeated problem.
probably two "grounds" Can you suggest the precausions that should be taken to remove this problem while PCB Designing. Remove ground from the "PCB" (I guess that means your circuit) and connect "PCB" ground to PC ground. I donot want to use isolators on PCB "Want to" is not a design criteria. Whether you "want to" or not does not matter, if the above does not fix the problem (e.g. your circuit get grounded through a machine) you will have to. Erik |
