We use the Acqura ICE for LPC development and it also does double duty at times as an ICP programmer and a parallel programmer. Approx $499US. I guess that might not be cheap to everyone, but since I needed the ICE anyway, the programmers to me are "free".
You are going to need a socket for parallel programmer either the TSSOP or PLCC, so you'll need to budget for that too. That's another reason to consider programmer the part on-board (either ISP or ICP). GB |
