Hi all,

Recently we have purchased a phyCORE developmentboard (from Phytec) with exchangeable phyCORE 8xC51-Mx2 module. The module is occupied with a Philips P87C51-MC2B controller, a flash rom and two SRAM chips of 512Kb.
The problem is that I cannot have access to these two SRAM chips.
The user manual says access to external RAM chips is made by means of 2 control registers in xdata space of the controller.
I placed my problem already on the Phytec forum, but got no response till yet.

I have made definitions for the bounderies of the SRAM chips and the addresses of the 2 control registers.
Furthermore I configured the MXCON and AUXR registers to have access to external RAM.

Has anyone of you have experience with this Phytec phyCORE module who supports the 51MX architecture of Philips??
Maybe someone can give a few hints to solve my problem.
