#93599 - calrification
Responding to: ???'s previous message
and neglect the overflow

NOT the overflow of the addition.

I ment neglecting the overflow of the ring buffer.

If you use a ring buffer for e.g. serial data, you declare an overflow error if you store in an occupied slot.

When using a ring buffer for "average of last n readings" the "overflow" from storing in an occupied slot is OK and should be ignored.
