#93701 - The menace of the junk mail.
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Yes HE really is a hero who did that to save innocent victims.

It is almost a regular affair this : Someone posing as PayPal wanting your bank details and then PayPal themselves sending another mail warning not to give it. And then somebody related to an Ugandan president or someone of similiar status wanting to transfer a huge amount ( normally in millions of USD ) to India and willing to pay 10% as service charges. All they need is my bank details- nothing more nothing less!

I find that one simple setting in Hotmail to accept mail from only my contacts and all others to be junked effectively eliminates such nuisance. Of course I regularly check the junk mail to see if some good mail is junked.

Any good technology has its dark side and maybe for the net this is one of them.
