Can anyone recommend any books or point me to some good resources for learning more about embedded systems? I have a background in computer engineering, but I'm looking to direct my career towards designing/programming embeddeed systems
There is no such thing as embedded systems, there is "large embedded" (e.g. cellphones) and "small embedded" (e.g. simple machine control) and they are miles apart. You can, to a large extent, use PC experience in large embedded, whereas, in small embedded, it is more of a hindrance. So, the first thing you need do is to decide between these two. Erik |
